VIDEO: Concerns over “Old” Town Hall

Matt Tedrick voices his concerns over the “old” Town Hall Bldg… is anyone making sure the owner is living up to the terms of the sale.

  1. Mr. Tedrick makes a valid point. If there were restrictive covenants attached to the trade of the old Town Hall for the Afton Inn, the owner (presumably Mr. Barros) should he held accountable. If there were no restrictive covenants, then the owner can do whatever he wants, including just letting it stand vacant, consistent with compliance with existing law. Then, the only things to be considered are:
    1) Are the real estate taxes being paid when due? and,
    2) Is the building being maintained so that it is not considered a
    “derelict” property?

Question: Are the real estate taxes being paid when due?Question: Is the
building being maintained so that it is not considered a:derelict
    property?

  2. Sure hope that Mr. Tredick shows up with his passion and enthusiasm at the upcoming Warren County supervisors budget discussions this year. He has not been active over the last 3 years as the county continues its spend and tax direction.
