SUMMARY:Selah Theatre Project Presents Neil Simon’s The Dinner Party
DESCRIPTION:Selah Theatre Project invites audiences to take a seat at the table for Neil Simon’s The Dinner Party\, directed by Bleu Do’zia\, performing at the Stone Branch Center for the Arts in Front Royal as part of the organization’s Roaming Mainstage Season. This sharply funny and unexpectedly heartfelt comedy asks what happens when six people discover they’ve been invited to a dinner they did not expect and won’t soon forget. \nSet in an elegant private dining room in Paris\, The Dinner Party gathers three divorced couples for what initially appears to be a tasteful evening out until the host’s true intentions emerge. As stories unfold and emotions surface\, Simon’s signature humor blends with poignant honesty\, offering a warm and surprising meditation on love\, loss\, and growth. \n“This play feels like sitting inside someone’s heart\,” said Director Bleu Do’zia. “It’s funny\, it’s messy\, and it’s deeply human\, exactly the kind of theatre that belongs close enough for the audience to feel it. This production places the audience right in the heart of the conversation — intimate\, honest\, and a little delightfully chaotic.” \nPerformance Schedule: \n\nThursday\, November 20 at 7:00 PM — Pay What You Can Preview\nFriday\, November 21 at 7:00 PM\nSaturday\, November 22 at 7:00 PM\nSunday\, November 23 at 2:00 PM\n\nVenue: Stone Branch Center for the Arts | Mainstage Roaming Series\nTickets: $20 per person (Thursday PWYC)\nBox Office / Info: selahtheatreproject.org/mainstage

SUMMARY:Rockin' Around
DESCRIPTION:Bluebell Trailhead (Near Canoe Launch) \nDid you know the Shenandoah Valley began forming around 300 million years ago during a massive continental collision known as the Alleghenian Orogeny? Back then\, the landscape looked very different—what is now a winding river was once covered by ancient oceans. Thanks to the rock cycle\, that dramatic transformation shaped the valley we see today. \nJoin us for a guided hike along the Bluebell Trail\, where we’ll explore the rock cycle in action. Along the way\, we’ll observe real-life examples of erosion and weathering and discuss how rocks and minerals have played a vital role in the lives of people in the Shenandoah Valley for over 10\,000 years. \nThis hike will be about 1 mile on easy terrain. The Bluebell Trail is a natural surface hiking trail with exposed rocks and roots. \nFor more information\, please email megan.goin@dcr.virginia.gov or call (540) 622-2262. \nParks are for everyone. Please let us know if you need special accommodations.
