3rd Annual Family Fun Day draws big crowd to downtown Front Royal
FRONT ROYAL – The weather was perfect and the crowds came out to enjoy a Louisiana-style parade that made its from Luray Avenue, down to Main Street, turning onto Chester Street before ending in the parking area of the Valley Health building.
The Parade kicked off the event at 10am, and was followed by scheduled music at the Gazebo from the Shockers, with games for the kids and exhibits set up that included family-friendly information.
Missed the parade? We have the video – watch it here.
William and Nina Huck, owners of C & C Frozen Treats, and founders of the event, served boiled crawfish complete with all the trimmings. “Crazy Willie”, as he is affectionately known, said, “We are always excited to bring a little of our old home to our new home!”
Proceeds from the Third Annual Family Fun Day will benefit the Warren County Humane Society, Able Forces and the Backpack Program.
