Town Council Public Hearings for February 23rd

The Front Royal Town Council will conduct the following public hearings on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Warren County Government Center’s Board Meeting Room located at 220 N Commerce Avenue on the following:

1) A Special Use Permit Application, submitted by Gary Bunch, to allow an Automobile Garage/General Repair Shop, located at 3 West 14th Street, identified by Tax Map 20A2-3-63-24A, 25, 26, 27, B 63. The property is zoned C-1, Community Business District, and is located in the Entrance Corridor.

2) A Special Use Permit Application, submitted by AJM, LLC, Front Royal, VA, on behalf of The Boisseau Family LC et al., to operate a shopping center in the C-1 zoning district pursuant to Town of Front Royal Municipal Code Section 175-39(B), located on South Street, identified by Tax Map 20A18-5-7. The property is zoned C-1, Community Business District.

3) Receive Public Comment regarding a request from West Brown to conditionally vacate by ordinance certain public rights-of-way, a 1,800 square foot portion of the unimproved alley located between W. 13th and 14th Streets.

4) Receive Public Comment regarding a request from Paul Rush to conditionally vacate by ordinance certain public rights-of-way, a 6,211 square foot portion of the Unimproved Lowe Lane located between Braxton Road and Lot 27A.

All those interested are invited to attend these hearings to express their views. Copies of proposed plans, ordinances, and amendments may be examined in the Offices of the Town Manager and Planning and Zoning during normal business hours at Town Hall, 102 East Main Street.
