VIEWPOINT: You’re Invited to Vacation Bible School – a Gift to the Community.

Once again the summer is upon us and many of the churches in this community are offering an opportunity for kids to gather for a few hours to learn about Jesus and fellowship with kids their age in a safe, fun filled, memorable and meaningful activity that is for many of these kids, the highlight of the year… these gatherings always include snacks and good conversation.

All kids are welcome, and it is a great opportunity to make new friends and lots of good memories.

Each church and each VBS try to present a theme for the gathering and some of them are quite spectacular, involving extensive decorations and a series of planned activities that demonstrate the love of God for His creation and provide an open invitation to learn more about Jesus and His invitation to a more abundant life.

One of the Vacation Bible Schools coming up in a few days is very close by at Freedom Baptist church, located very near the old hospital in town.

Freedom Baptist Church in Front Royal, VA warmly invites kids up to grade seven (7) to take advantage of this exciting 3-day Vacation Bible School program for 2025. The theme for this year is “Jesus is out of this world” … This special event, three (3) nights from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, provides an ideal environment for children to interact with their peers in a meaningful and fun-filled two hours.

Dates and time: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (June 18^th, 19^th & 20^th), 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Location: 1200 N. Shenandoah Ave, Front Royal, VA… Near the old hospital

What to expect:

• Interactive Bible lessons that inspire and educate
• Fun-filled activities and games
• Opportunities for new friendships and spiritual growth
• Light refreshments are provided each evening.

Bring your friends. Feel free to invite your neighbors’ kids. The more, the merrier!
