Baseball fans in Front Royal have a special treat coming this week as the Front Royal Cardinals welcome the Woodstock River Bandits to Bing Crosby Stadium on Wednesday, July 23, with free admission for all fans. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. and is proudly sponsored by Wines Bookkeeping LLC, giving the community a chance to enjoy hometown baseball at no cost.

Gates will open early so fans can grab their favorite ballpark snacks, pick their seats, and settle in before the first pitch. A strong turnout is expected, and stadium staff recommend arriving early to make the most of the evening.

If you can’t be there in person, the Royal Examiner will stream the game live beginning at 6:45 p.m., giving fans the chance to follow the Cardinals from anywhere. Whether you’re watching from home, your phone, or cheering on the go, the stream brings the stadium experience right to you.

Valley League Baseball, often called the “Gateway to the Majors,” features top collegiate players from across the country. The league has been a part of Shenandoah Valley summers for decades, giving families the chance to see future stars up close and enjoy a night of affordable, family-friendly fun.

For the Front Royal Cardinals, summer nights under the lights are more than just a game; they’re a community tradition. Come out, grab a hot dog, and cheer on the home team in true Front Royal style.
