Samuels Support Is Loud and Clear—Why Ignore It?

Published

on

I read Ms. Marmrlejo’s Examiner Letter of April 14th and STRONGLY feel she is 100 percent accurate in her assessment of the situation concerning Samuels Library and the Board. I could not have expressed it better!

I strongly disagree with Dr. Jamieson’s and his cabal’s allegation that the majority of W.C. citizens support their policy. This has been exhibited by the outpouring in favor of Samuels and its staff at hearings and in the press. If you are so confident,t put a moratorium on the change and hold a referendum to let the public decide. You will not be able to have prepared statements to read after 8 plus hours of overwhelming public support for Samuels or you can wait until the next election to get the message–unfortunately too late for Samuels!
