Empty nests are filling back up
Once all of the children are grown up and off to college or starting a career, parents are left with an empty nest. According to USA Today, however, these nests will be filling back up with as many as 26 percent of Millennials planning to move back home after graduation.
Ballooning college debt (current average is $11,475 ) and less income compared to the Baby Boomer generation mean that it makes more sense to save money and pay off bills by staying at home with mom and dad for a few years.
