FRONT ROYAL – A fine art gallery and studio,  Art in the Valley, located at 205-A East Main Street,  has scheduled a grand opening for Friday, June 22nd at 5:00 p.m.

The opening exhibit will highlight the works of twelve contemporary artists including: Matthew Montgomery whose bold colored canvases depict playful images; Fian Arroyo’s award winning pop surrealistic illustrations; local photographers Jordan Long, Sarah Hart Morgan and Scott Turnmeyer who find beautiful images in Shenandoah Valley landscapes; Melissa Moss’s whimsical and delicate mixed media works; gorgeous woodturnings by Tony De Masi; stunning and unique jewelry pieces by Priscilla Fritsch and Annie Waters; and hand crafted, one-of-a kind pieces by ceramic artist Theresa Buchanan.

The exhibit also includes the work by gallery owners Michael and Tiffany Budzisz. Michael paints portraiture and equine art. His work is featured on the labels of the Front Royal Brewing Company, and prints of each one will be available for sale. Tiffany creates intricate paper sculptures of fantasy creatures and fauna. Both artists will be teaching art classes in the space beginning this month. Michael Budzisz said, in a written release, “We welcome everyone to stop in and view the works on display from our local and regional artists. We’re excited to share our passion for the arts with the community. ”
