Clark Cummings supports Thomas Sayre for Warren County Board of Supervisors

My family has resided in Warren County since 2001. I am writing in support of one resident, Thomas Sayre. Tom took on the post as a freshman Supervisor of Warren County in the last election. Incredibly, Tom found himself in circumstances that led to the current debacle that has ensnared Warren County. Even our local law enforcement was compromised. In my humble opinion, he saw through some of the irregular actions that were taking place and tried to expose it as best he could, but in the end it took a forensic audit to gather the necessary evidence. In the meantime, “Players” around him wanted him gone. Jennifer McDonald did her best to get Thomas kicked out as a Supervisor. She knew that he was beginning to see through the fog.

Tom has since been vindicated in the McDonald defamation suit against him. He, in fact, has won his own defamation suit against Jennifer McDonald. I cannot speak for the others, but I can say that Thomas Sayre continues to represent this community with honesty, integrity, and strength. He is “Fighting the Good Fight.”

It is time to acknowledge that if not for Tom Sayre, we may not even now know that millions of dollars were being stolen. It is time to drop this indictment against Mr. Sayre.
