Email Scam Impersonating Town of Front Royal Planning & Zoning
The Town of Front Royal has been made aware of a fraudulent email scam falsely representing the Town of Front Royal Planning & Zoning Department.
The email address Planning.FrontRoyal@usa.com, using the usa.com domain, is being used in an attempt to impersonate the Town of Front Royal Planning & Zoning Department and commit fraud. This email address has been reported for abuse to the domain registrar.
These emails are NOT legitimate.
The Town of Front Royal does not send invoices via email, and this communication did not originate from the Town’s Planning & Zoning Department.
THIS IS A SCAM
Recipients are strongly advised to take no action, including:
- Opening attachments
- Making payments
- Providing personal, financial, or sensitive information
