River and Peak Outfitter celebrates first year of business with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Published

on

John and Kristen Sims hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, March 23, to celebrate their first year of River and Peak Outfitter. There was a great turnout on this sunny, somewhat blustery March day. Among those joining the celebration were Mayor Hollis Tharpe, Nikki Foster of Chamber of Commerce, William Huck of C&C Frozen Treats, and many other customers and supporters. The event was also joined by Potomac Appalachian Trail Club and Potomac Riverkeeper Network, as both had informative tables set up to talk and hand out brochures for their worthy organizations. John and Kristen provided a fun raffle and free pizza – what could be better?

River and Peak is a true outdoor adventuring store. They offer everything from kayaks, hiking gear, clothing, fishing equipment, and a great deal of other quality items. This shop offers the visitor a unique opportunity to meet knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff. You can expect to find John, Kristen and staff not only talking the talk but walking the walk in order to make your outdoor experience fun and safe.

Congratulations to River and Peak Outfitter for their first year of many years to come! A big thank you to all who attended this exciting event.
