The Definition of Insanity, Warren County Edition
Dr. Richard Jamieson seems convinced that if he keeps repeating the same argument (at great length), it will magically become true. Again and again, he rolls out sprawling Power Points and long-winded speeches attacking Samuels Public Library. Again and again, the public rejects his claims.
As the old saying goes, there is a word for doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result: insanity.
What Jamieson seems to miss is that repetition doesn’t strengthen a weak case; it only highlights how little substance there is behind it.
Citizens of Warren County deserve leaders who can recognize when their arguments have failed and move on, not ones who trap the community in a loop of tired, discredited accusations.
Early voting is going on now. If you’d like to see this nonsense against the library finally come to an end, re-fund Samuels, and have a board that understands its job and listens to citizens, now is your chance. Vote for pro-library candidates Hugh Henry and Tony Carter today!
