Town Talk: A conversation with Rick Novak

Published

on

In this Town Talk, we’ll have another conversation with Rick Novak. Rick is the owner of Royal Cinemas and the Royal Family Bowling Center. With Main Street opening this weekend, Rick tells us that we’ll have the opportunity to once again to “go to the movies.” Rick is setting up the Town’s projection equipment on Main Street and will show the community several movies at no charge.

On Saturday night, it’s the Minions movie. Minions Stuart, Kevin, and Bob are recruited by Scarlet Overkill, a super-villain who, alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the world.

And on Sunday night, it’s Ironman! After being held captive in an Afghan cave, billionaire engineer Tony Stark creates a unique weaponized suit of armor to fight evil. All of this happens to start at 8:30 pm.

Of course, the Royal Cinemas concession stand will be open and stock with fresh popcorn.

Main Street will be closed at 2 pm on Saturday till Tuesday at 7 am.

Town Talk is a series on the Royal Examiner where we will introduce you to local entrepreneurs, businesses, non-profit leaders, and political figures who influence Warren County. Topics will be varied but hopefully interesting. If you have an idea, topic, or want to hear from someone in our community, let us know. Send your request to news@RoyalExaminer.com
