Warren County resident Mark Butler, a Northern Virginia police officer, recently held two fundraisers, in order to raise funds for the Front Royal Police Foundation’s K-9 campaign fund.

Though Butler, a veteran, is busy working as an officer himself, and running his business 3D Professional Training, which trains first responders all over the country, he felt compelled to do something in honor of the Front Royal Police Department‘s narcotics K-9, Boone, who died in April, following a short illness, at the age of 12.

The officer presented a check for $500 to Front Royal Police Chief Kahle Magalis and Foundation Chair Patti Baggarly on Wednesday, May 16.
