2 Siberian lynx stolen from private zoo in Winchester

WINCHESTER, Va. — Two of three juvenile big cats have been stolen from Wilson’s Wild Animal Park on W. Parkins Mill Road near Winchester.
Frederick County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Capt. Donald Lang said in a written media release that the two Siberian lynx were taken from their secured kennel at the park sometime between 6:00 p.m. Monday evening and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
The lynx are 10 months old and worth about $4,000 each, according to the release.
