Betty K. Chapman (1943 – 2024)

Betty K. Chapman, 80, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024, in the comfort of her own home.

A celebration of life will be held Monday, April 1, 2024, at Living Water Christian Church, 72 N. Lake Ave, Front Royal, VA 22630, at 11:00 am. The family will receive visitors 1 hour prior to the service.  A time of fellowship will follow the service in the church social hall.

Betty was born to the late Walker and Rachel Keener on April 1, 1943, in Warren County, Virginia. She is also preceded in death by an infant sister, Mary Frances Keener, and her grandson, Jesse Dove.

Surviving Betty is her husband, Billy Chapman; her daughters, Callie H. Dove (JR) & Carrie Chapman (Travis); and grandchildren Jessica Phillips, Joshua Dove, Caitlin Ruckman (Chad) & Bradley VanGorder. Several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews & cousins also survive her.  She also had many friends who held a special place in her heart.

Betty was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She avidly supported her grandchildren’s sporting, scouting & other extracurricular activities. She was active in her church and a lifetime member of Girl Scouts.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Living Water Christian Church or Hospice.
