A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13, at 2:00 p.m. in Prospect Hill Cemetery, with Sammy Campbell officiating.
Carolyn was born September 5, 1934, in Warren County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Frank Pope Venable and Edith V. Haley Venable Nicewarner.
She cared for numerous children in her home over many years.
Her family and friends will greatly miss her.
Surviving are a daughter, Amy J. Settle Morris and husband Darold of Elkton; two grandsons, Jamie Morris and wife Lillian of Elkton and Jeremy Yowell and wife Lillian of Ft. Liberty, North Carolina; and two great-grandchildren, Leo and Scarlett Yowell.
