Humane Society of Warren County granted $2,500 from the Banfield Foundation

Front Royal, VA – The Humane Society of Warren County announced that they were granted $2,500 from the Banfield Foundation for Hand in Paw – Helping People and Pets in Crisis. As funds allow, Hand in Paw can help provide Warren County residents with financial assistance for pet related needs, veterinary care, temporary boarding, and behavior training. In addition, pet food and supplies are provided to pet owners through HSWC’s pet food pantry.
“Why contribute to Hand in Paw? Your support helps save lives! By assisting families in crisis to feed and care for their pets, we are able to prevent those animals from being surrendered to an animal shelter. Our vision is to be part of a community where every pet is a wanted pet. To achieve this, we feel that it is important to help people keep their beloved animals at home, instead of overcrowding the shelters.
Whether you are in need of help or want to help support animals in your community, HSWC has you covered. To get help, visit HSWC at 1245 Progress Drive, Front Royal VA, 22630 during normal business hours which are Thursday-Tuesday from 10am-4pm. To support Hand in Paw, you can mail a check, call our office to pay by credit card or stop by during normal business hours. You can also donate food and pet supplies at our shelter.” ~ Kayla Wines/Shelter Manager
