Jeffrey Harold Ward (1957 – 2025)
Jeffrey Harold Ward, of Linden, Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home on July 20, 2025. He was born on November 20, 1957, in Farmerville, Louisiana, to the late Murray Evans Ward and Reba Pearl Norman Ward.

Jeffrey Harold Ward
Jeff was a devoted father to his two children, Mindy Ward and Allen Ward (with his better half Kristy), and a proud grandfather to Zoey, Arlen, Denver, and Ivory. He is also survived by his sister, Lisa Rose; nephews, Tony and Luis; niece, Jessica; and his cherished pug, Smash, as well as many close friends who will deeply miss his humor, warmth, and unwavering friendship.
A lifelong truck driver, Jeff had a strong work ethic and a deep love for the open road. He was an avid outdoorsman and passionate hunter, a proud member of the NRA, and someone who found peace in watching the wildlife around his home. In his younger years, he played high school baseball and remained a loyal sports fan.
Jeff had a gift for making people laugh and was always the comedian in the room. He never met a stranger, always offering a smile or a kind word to those around him. His presence brought light and comfort, and his stories will live on through the many lives he touched.
A memorial service will take place at 5 P.M. on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W Main St., Front Royal, Virginia, with Sammy Campbell officiating. The family will receive guests one hour before the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
