Learie Kathryn Knight Henry (1941 – 2024)

Learie Kathryn Knight Henry,83, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away at home on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 25, at 11:00 a.m. in Panorama Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Dottie Holden officiating.

Learie was born March 29, 1941, in Front Royal, Virginia, the daughter of the late Louise Hockman Eaton and Franklin Isaac Knight.

Learie drove a school bus for Warren County Public Schools for nine years, then worked at Farmer Jack grocery store, where she retired after 16 years.

Learie was a loving mother and grandmother.  She is survived by her three children, Mickey Henry, Alisa Polk, and Jerry Henry (Debbie), all of Front Royal, Virginia; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Esther Knight, who was like a sister to her.

Learie was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Russell Henry, who was the father of her children; her siblings, Franklin Lee Knight and Helen Virginia Andrews; her grandson, Travis Aaron Henry; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Henry.
