Ruth Irene O’Neill (1939 – 2024)

Ruth Irene O’Neill, 85, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away at Winchester Medical Center on November 13, 2024.

A funeral Mass will be held for Ruth at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 120 W Main St. Front Royal, with Father Tom Shepanzyk officiating. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Her burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Quantico National Cemetery.

Ruth was born in Michigan on May 15, 1939, to the late Scott and Helen Yacques. She was also preceded in death by her son, Terrance James O’Neill.

Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Terrance Francis O’Neill; her sister, Dawn Yacques; her son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Heather O’Neill; and her grandchildren, Oona O’Neill and Ronin O’Neill.
