Town Business Offices to Close Briefly on July 23 for Employee Appreciation Picnic

The Town of Front Royal will briefly close its business offices on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 11:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. to allow employees to attend the town’s annual Employee Appreciation Picnic.

This temporary midday closure affects several departments, including:

  • Town Hall (Regular hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
  • Department of Public Works (Regular hours 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
  • Energy Services (Regular hours 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
  • Front Royal Visitors’ Center (Regular hours 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

All offices will reopen promptly at 2:15 p.m., and residents are encouraged to plan visits around this short break. For those needing to make payments or drop off documents during the closure, the 24-hour deposit box behind Town Hall will remain available.

Additionally, please note that yard waste collection will not occur on Wednesday, July 23. Regular services will resume on the following scheduled day.

The town thanks all residents for their patience and understanding as they take time to recognize the hard work and dedication of their staff.
