Front Royal Promotes B.J. Wilson to Assistant Town Manager of Administration

The Town of Front Royal announced today that B.J. Wilson, currently serving as the Town’s Finance Director, has been appointed the new Assistant Town Manager of Administration. In his expanded role, Wilson will oversee finance and several essential operations, including meter reading, purchasing, and fleet maintenance, while continuing his duties as Finance Director.

Wilson began his career with the Town of Front Royal 2008 as the Finance Manager and rose to Finance Director in 2016. Over the years, he has contributed significantly to the town’s financial stability and strategic planning, earning several distinguished awards from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for his work in financial management.

Town Manager Joe Waltz spoke highly of Wilson’s promotion, noting, “B.J.’s extensive experience and dedication to the Town of Front Royal have consistently raised the bar for our financial practices. We are excited for him to bring the same level of excellence to his expanded role.”
