on

The Town of Front Royal has released its updated service schedules for the New Year’s holiday and the start of 2025. Here’s what residents need to know:

Holiday Closures
Town Business Offices will be closed on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in observance of New Year’s Day.

Trash and Recycling Adjustments
Collections scheduled for Wednesday, January 1, will instead occur on Friday, January 3. Other trash and recycling pickup days remain unaffected for the week.

Christmas Tree Collection
Residents can have their Christmas trees collected curbside on January 8, 15, and 22. Trees should be free of ornaments, tinsel, and stands to ensure pickup. Trees with root balls are not eligible for collection.

Yard Waste Collection
The final seasonal yard waste collection day is Friday, January 24, 2025. After this date, residents can continue to dispose of yard waste at the Manassas Avenue Extended Site. This facility operates daily from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, excluding Wednesdays and Sundays. The service is available to Front Royal and Warren County residents with valid vehicle registrations.

Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars and plan accordingly. For additional information, contact the Town Manager’s Office.
