Front Royal annual scholarships awarded
At the Monday (April 10) Front Royal Town Council meeting, Prutha Patel of WCHS and home-schooled Cecilia Bockrath received the Town of Front Royal’s annual $500 scholarships for their next level of education. Both have higher education plans: Patel in medicine and Bockrath in business and human resources.

Patel hopes to attend George Washington University in Washington, D.C. to begin her studies in medicine, with a focus on internal medicine. She was a member of the Interact and Key Clubs, the Student Government Association and played varsity tennis, among other activities.
Bockrath hopes to attend George Mason University Honors College to begin her business studies. She was a member of the St. John’s Catholic Church Drama Club and studies piano.
Both girls were National Honor Society members. – Congratulations and good luck, Prutha and Cecilia!
