Town Scholarship winners: Abigail Frey and Kaitlyn Jacobs

Graduating high school seniors living in the Town limits can apply for a scholarships to pursue continued undergraduate or trade education at an accredited university, community college, or trade school. The two winners this year of the Town Scholarship were Abigail Frey and Kaitlyn Jacobs. Each were awarded $500 from the Town.

Councilman Gary Gillespie presents the Town Scholarship to WCHS senior Abigail Frey, who plans to pursue a nursing degree. Frey was acknowledged for her National Honor Society membership, soccer playing and community outreach work, including work on blood drives and mental health awareness initiatives.
