What Matters Warren
Facebook is matching donations to nonprofits today on “Giving Tuesday”
WHAT MATTERS Warren – Facebook will match donations to nonprofits through Facebook on GIVING TUESDAY, 11/27/18
Do you have a nonprofit you’d like to support this holiday season? Log on at EXACTLY 8am Tuesday 11/27/18 and Facebook will match your donation (up to their 7 million max total donation matching limit). If you’re looking for a cause to support, Beth Medved Waller’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit, WHAT MATTERS, was approved by Facebook to receive donations for Giving Tuesday. Currently, 100% of all WM donations are going to support the children of Light up Life Foundations in Uganda (unless otherwise designated). Not only will she personally match donations as she always does, but Facebook will match donations made starting at 8am on Giving Tuesday. Most of her WHAT MATTERS videos are exclusively featured here on Royal Examiner.
This new two minute video is a sample of what past donations have already done on the other side of the world through the WHAT MATTERS/Light up Life Bunyade school construction project.
Beth has a message for the kind readers who support and follow her initiatives: “Words can’t express how much of a difference the donations have made to children in Uganda. I head back in two weeks for my 5th trip this year, and I’m so thankful for the amazing support received since my first fundraising campaign last Christmas. I’m thrilled to be able to match all funds received and to now offer a tax deductible donation for supporters. On Giving Tuesday, Facebook now will make donations THREE times as impactful! If you have another nonprofit you support, please use this opportunity to support any cause that matters to you!”
If you’d like to set up a campaign to help on your personal page, here’s a link, or donate even just a few dollars yourself by visiting What Matters W2 on Facebook! Remember, every cent goes to the cause as she personally funds all expenses thanks to her real estate clients/sales.
She heads back to Uganda on December 7th- 15th for holiday mission work. Please let her know if you have any used touch screen electronic devices she can take (or video games/systems for a new fundraising project there).
If you’d prefer to donate on her website, www.whatmattersw2.com/donate, it now also accepts tax deductible donations-which would make a wonderful Christmas gift for the person on your list who would be touched by a personal thank you video from the children. Donate before Dec 12th and she’d be glad to film an unforgettable message for your loved one for you to share on Christmas morning! Mention it in your donation comments online or contact her via her website to coordinate!
THANK YOU TO ALL PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE DONORS!

About WHAT MATTERS:
WHAT MATTERS is a 501(c)(3) that she started this year to enable people to have the benefit of a tax deduction for their donations through her fundraising matches.
Here is the Current Match Campaign for the children of Bunyade school project.
WHAT MATTERS has ZERO overhead as 100% of the expenses are funded by her real estate business (THANK YOU CLIENTS AND SUPPORTERS for making that possible!). Every cent donated goes to the cause.
WHAT MATTERS is a 501(c)(3) that focuses on local and global outreach to help spread the word, support and raise funds for causes that matter. If you’d like to get involved, or travel to Africa with her on a future trip to work with the children of Light up Life Foundations, please visit www.whatmattersw2.com.
