I Want Candy moving to E. Main Street
Shop relocating from Chester Street to E. Main Street

I Want Candy is moving from Chester Street to E. Main Street this month.
FRONT ROYAL–East Main Street in Historic Downtown Front Royal is about to see another storefront filled as I Want Candy relocates from 12 Chester Street, across the square to 413 E. Main St.
Owner Stephonie Baker has been hard at work, readying the new location for customers. She said earlier this week that some repairs had to be performed on the concrete floor before carpeting could be laid, and she wanted to make sure everything was perfect before she opened the doors to welcome customers.

The retail space is being readied for the candy store to relocate in the next few days.
Though customers found their way to her door on Chester Street, Ms. Baker is delighted to be on Main Street, right next door to C & C Frozen Treats. She said that she was happy that her new landlord, William Huck, who owns the ice cream parlor with his wife, Nina Politz Huck, provided her the opportunity to relocate to a more visible site.
Provided things go well with the repairs and move-in, folks should be able to find their favorite candy treats on Monday, Dec. 12, when Ms. Baker says she hopes to open. Some remodeling work has caused a slight delay; she had hoped to be open before the weekend to give shoppers more time to prepare for the holidays. Still, shoppers will have plenty of time to buy those sweet treats for Christmas and Hanukkah gifts!
