WHAT MATTERS Warren
Dr. Frederick and Dr. Daisy Broadhead of Front Royal Dental Care were able to get Warren County kids and local area schools excited about oral health in a big way. In honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month, the dentists held an art contest to encourage the importance of dental hygiene. The response was overwhelming with nearly 400 entries!

Front Royal Dental Care selected three winners from the following categories: K-1, grades 2-3 and grades 4-5. Front Royal Christian School, A.S. Rhodes and Ressie Jeffries were lucky to have the winning students. The selected students won a prize bag with a $50 gift card, children’s Sonicare electric toothbrush, dental travel kit, and a book.

A.S. Rhodes Elementary and Mountain Laurel Montessori School were awarded each a $1,000 donation for having the most participation by a public and private school.

Dr. Frederick Broadhead visited each of the schools to congratulate and present their donations. Mountain Laurel students were particularly excited to hear that they won a $1,000 for their school. The Directors of the school announced that the money will be put to good use as seed money to purchase additional property to expand their facilities.
