The Virginia State Police reported significant criminal interdictions during a weeklong series of coordinated enforcement operations across the Commonwealth.

From March 4 through March 10, 2026, state police, working alongside federal and local law enforcement partners, recovered firearms, seized narcotics, and confiscated large amounts of cash as part of ongoing crime suppression initiatives.

According to state police, officers recovered six firearms during the operations, with an estimated combined value of about $3,000.

Authorities also seized nearly 100 pounds of illegal narcotics, including drugs recovered directly by Virginia State Police and those seized through federal task force partnerships involving the agency.

The breakdown of narcotics seized includes:

  • Marijuana: 34.1 pounds
  • Methamphetamine: 13.9 pounds
  • THC consumables: 8.6 pounds
  • Fentanyl: 3.8 ounces
  • Crack cocaine: 13 grams
  • Cocaine: 3 grams

State police reported the combined narcotics seizures represent an estimated $669,680 in denied illegal drug revenue.

In addition to drugs and firearms, law enforcement also seized $400,000 in U.S. currency during the operations.

The Virginia State Police said the enforcement efforts are part of ongoing crime suppression initiatives conducted in partnership with local, state, and federal agencies.

Officials say these collaborative operations are aimed at disrupting criminal enterprises, reducing the availability of illegal drugs, and enhancing public safety throughout the Commonwealth.

The report is part of a weekly summary released by the Virginia State Police detailing enforcement activity across the state.
