Front Royal’s Dr. Jeremy Busch Brings PGA and Olympic Know-How Home

Front Royal sports chiropractor Dr. Jeremy Busch, DACBSP, capped a busy late-summer stretch on elite stages, returning as lead Sports Chiropractor for the PGA Tour Champions’ Ally Challenge and joining the medical provider team at the U.S. Bobsled & Skeleton Push Championships—all while continuing to serve local athletes as CEO of Performance Sport and Spine.

From August 20–24, 2025, Busch worked inside the PGA Tour’s Player Performance Center at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc, Michigan. He has held the Ally Challenge post every year since the tournament began in 2018, part of a credentialed, multi-disciplinary team coordinated through Professional Sports Care (PSC), the Tour’s exclusive chiropractic provider.

“It’s an honor to return to The Ally Challenge and provide care at the highest level of professional golf,” Busch said. “These athletes demand the utmost precision and power in a rotational sport where every movement counts. My role is to keep them mobile, aligned, and competition-ready.”

As the event’s sole Sports Chiropractor, Busch worked alongside one athletic trainer and two physical therapists, handling everything from injury assessment and management to pre-round tune-ups and post-round recovery. His primary focus was the professional field, with occasional care for caddies and support staff.

“Golf shares a biomechanical profile with other rotational sports like baseball or tennis, but it’s uniquely demanding in terms of power transfer and precision,” he said. “Working with the PGA Tour Champions has sharpened my skills, and I love bringing those insights home to benefit our patients in Front Royal and Winchester.”

Busch is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP), a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP), and Titleist Performance Institute–certified. On-site, he addressed common golf issues across the kinetic chain—lower back, shoulder, hip, neck, knee, and wrist—using movement assessment, soft-tissue care, and targeted activation.

Just days later, from September 2–14, 2025, Busch reported to the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, New York, for his first official assignment with the national governing body for USA Bobsled & Skeleton (USABS) at their Push Championships—a key benchmarking event that isolates the explosive start to rank talent and inform National Team selections.

“Although I’ve worked within the Olympic and Paralympic system for nearly 10 years, this is my first assignment with the national governing body for Bobsled and Skeleton — and I’m honored to serve these incredible athletes in a more direct capacity,” Busch said. “This is truly in our wheelhouse at PSS — performance-based, strength-driven, and laser-focused on helping athletes prepare, recover, and thrive.”

Working alongside USABS Athletic Trainer Ben Towne, Busch supported training and competition sessions with injury management, performance-enhancing mobility, and recovery strategies tailored to sprint-power demands. “Mobility and strength are the foundation of explosive power,” he said. “Most of our care this week will focus on lower back and lower extremity performance — exactly where chiropractic and athletic training intersect. The demands of the start require bodies to be primed for precision, and it’s our job to ensure they’re moving at 100%.”

Those assignments are part of a broader 2025 calendar that also includes service as a medical delegate to The World Games 2025 in Chengdu, China, with the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS), and ongoing duties as Head Team Physician for Christendom College Athletics.

“Whether it’s a pro golfer, an Olympic hopeful, or a grandmother picking up her grandbaby, the same principles of strength, movement, and recovery apply,” Busch said. “Our patients at Performance Sport and Spine benefit directly from these experiences—because we’re committed to delivering world-class care at home.”

He added, “Every time I serve at these major events, I return home a better provider. Our mission at Performance Sport and Spine is simple: ‘We fuel your performance through movement and strength — so you can thrive in health and life.’ Our patients in Warren and Frederick Counties deserve the same world-class care these athletes receive — and we’re committed to delivering it.”
