Virginia State Police reported the recovery of 25 firearms and more than $78,000 in seized currency during ongoing crime suppression operations across the Commonwealth from May 27 through June 2.

The weekly report highlights work by the Virginia State Police in partnership with local, state, and federal agencies. Officials said the operations led to narcotics seizures and investigations of multiple crimes throughout Virginia.

According to State Police, the 25 firearms recovered during criminal drug investigations were valued at $12,500. Authorities also seized $78,282 in U.S. currency.

Drug seizures reported during the same period included 1.3 pounds of cocaine, 213.2 pounds of marijuana, 10 pounds of psilocybin, 5.2 pounds of methamphetamine, and 31.1 pounds of THC consumables.

State Police said the seized drugs represented $1,496,581 in denied revenue.

The weekly report includes seizures made by Virginia State Police, State Police task forces, federal task forces, and assists. The agency said the ongoing operations are part of its public safety mission and support efforts to disrupt criminal activity and violent crime across Virginia.

“By working in close collaboration with local, state, and federal agencies, law enforcement continues to disrupt criminal enterprises and safeguard communities,” the agency said.
