Published

Hey Stewart,

Is it too late to sign up for the All About Trees class this year?

Nancy

It’s not too late, Nancy!

The 2026 All About Trees class begins Saturday, Sept. 12, and registration is still open.

You can sign up through the Front Royal/Warren County Tree Stewards website at: https://treesfrontroyal.org/all-about-trees-class-2/

The All About Trees training program covers the basics of planting, identifying, maintaining, and caring for trees.

Participants will learn about tree anatomy and biology, soils, tree identification, propagation, planting, pruning, and choosing the right tree for the right location.

The program combines online learning with in-person field classes, giving participants a chance to put what they learn into practice.

Classes are taught by professional arborists, nursery professionals, landscapers, horticulturalists, and Tree Stewards.

At the end of the program, graduates will help plant a class tree.

In-person classes are generally held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon, beginning Sept. 12. Reading and video assignments can be completed at your convenience.

The course fee is $30 and includes all classes. Tuition assistance is available.

For more information or to register, visit https://treesfrontroyal.org.

Have a TREE-mendous day!
