Front Royal-Warren County EDA Seeks Community Members for Small Business Loan Review Committee

Published

on

The Front Royal-Warren County Economic Development Authority is seeking qualified community members to serve on its Small Business Loan Review Committee, which serves as a key advisory body supporting local business growth and community development.

The committee evaluates loan applications for the EDA’s USDA Intermediary Relending Program and Rural Business Enterprise Loan programs. Its recommendations help the EDA Board make informed lending decisions that align with the County and Town comprehensive plans and the EDA’s strategic economic development goals.

“We’re looking for individuals who are deeply engaged in our community and who bring real-world business and organizational experience,” said James Fox, FRWC EDA Board Member. “This committee will help ensure our small business lending programs are both financially sound and strategically targeted toward the industries that can most strengthen our local economy.”

Ideal candidates should have experience in business, management, or community engagement, along with a basic familiarity with financial statements. Members must be residents of Warren County and able to successfully complete a background check.

The EDA is especially interested in applicants with experience in small business ownership, nonprofit leadership or community service, financial or loan expertise, and strong local connections or civic involvement.

Committee members will review and evaluate loan applications, assessing both financial feasibility and alignment with local and regional development priorities. The committee’s recommendations will guide the EDA Board’s final funding decisions.

Interested individuals should submit a brief letter of interest and resume outlining relevant experience at frwceda.com/small-business-loan-committee.

Questions may be sent to admin@frwceda.com.

More information about the EDA and its loan programs is available at frwceda.com/fr-wc-eda-small-business-loan-program.
