A Warren County grand jury returned 17 indictments against 10 individuals on October 13, 2026, in Warren County Circuit Court. The charges involve alleged offenses dating from October 2023 through August 2026.

The indictments include two counts of attempted malicious wounding, multiple drug possession charges involving methamphetamine and fentanyl, a felony driving under the influence charge, and allegations involving false statements to the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles.

Several individuals face multiple charges, including one defendant indicted on three separate drug possession counts stemming from the same incident.

The October grand jury session returned the following indictments.

MICHAEL MASSEY

Michael Dewayne Massey II was indicted on two counts of attempted malicious wounding in connection with an alleged incident on August 9, 2025.

According to the indictments, Massey allegedly attempted to cause bodily injury to Christine Massey and Peter Lemmon with the intent to maim, disfigure, disable, or kill. Each alleged victim is named in a separate indictment.

Both charges were brought under Virginia Code § 18.2-51.

Faye Annette Bowlin was indicted on two counts of making false statements in matters involving the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles.

The indictments allege that between October 26, 2023, and October 12, 2025, Bowlin knowingly made false affidavits or falsely swore or affirmed to matters required by Virginia law or the DMV commissioner.

Both charges cite Virginia Code § 46.2-105.

CHAD DAWSON

Chad Aaron Dawson faces two felony drug possession indictments involving separate incidents.

The first alleges that Dawson knowingly or intentionally possessed methamphetamine on June 1, 2026. The second alleges possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance on August 31, 2026.

Prosecutors brought both charges under Virginia Code § 18.2-250.

DANIEL CLEMENT

Daniel Jacob Clement was indicted on a felony driving under the influence charge stemming from an alleged incident on May 28, 2026.

The indictment alleges that Clement operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or a combination of substances that impaired his ability to drive safely.

The indictment further alleges that Clement had two prior qualifying DUI convictions within the preceding five years and that his blood alcohol concentration exceeded 0.20.

The charge cites Virginia Code §§ 18.2-266 and 18.2-270.

LaQuanzia My-Angel Drew was indicted on two charges involving alleged incidents at Shell Gas Station on August 30, 2025.

The first indictment alleges that Drew obtained $2,338 from Shell Gas Station by false pretenses, intending to defraud.

The second alleges that Drew knowingly tampered with computers or other equipment used for on-premises mobile casino gaming to alter the odds or payout of a game or disable its operation.

The charges cite Virginia Code §§ 18.2-178 and 58.1-4138.

CHRISTIAN CORATHERS

Christian Garrett Corathers was indicted on one count of possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance.

The indictment alleges that Corathers knowingly or intentionally possessed the substance on August 23, 2026, in Warren County.

Prosecutors brought the charge under Virginia Code § 18.2-250.

LEIGHANA ZUBER

Leighana D. Zuber, also identified as Leighana Dayle Zuber in a second indictment, faces two felony drug possession charges.

One indictment alleges possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance on August 22, 2025.

The second alleges possession of methamphetamine on July 2, 2026.

Both charges cite Virginia Code § 18.2-250.

SIAN BRUNO MARQUEZ

Sian Camille Bruno Marquez faces three drug possession indictments arising from an alleged incident on June 12, 2026.

The grand jury returned separate indictments alleging possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and quetiapine.

Prosecutors brought all three charges under Virginia Code § 18.2-250.

DONTREAL ARRINGTON

Dontreal Trevaun Arrington was indicted on a charge of possession or transportation of a firearm by a convicted felon.

According to the indictment, Arrington allegedly knowingly and intentionally possessed or transported a firearm on July 16, 2025, after having been convicted of a felony within the preceding 10 years.

The charge cites Virginia Code § 18.2-308.2.

MICHAEL ADAMO

Michael Adamo was indicted on one count of possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance.

The indictment alleges that Adamo knowingly or intentionally possessed the substance on January 6, 2026, in Warren County.

The Commonwealth brought the charge under Virginia Code § 18.2-250.

Indictments Are Not Convictions

The 17 indictments were returned as true bills by the Warren County grand jury on October 13. A true bill means the grand jury found sufficient evidence to formally charge the accused and allow the case to proceed through the court system.

An indictment does not establish guilt. The charges represent allegations that must be proven in court.

The documents do not identify upcoming court dates, plea arrangements, or trial schedules.

All individuals named in the indictments are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
