Kickin’ up your heels at Front Royal’s Family Fun Day

It was fun for the dogs too – Pola the Husky and Scarlett the Boston Terrier do a little getting-to-know-you sniff.

Sponge Bob made a lot of new friends … and there were fun things to do after hanging with ‘the Sponge’


Napping is fun too …

… as is exploring the art of stained glass and how it might add to the ambiance of your personal space, at Dubby White’s Stained Glass display.

And then there were the CLASSIC cars – above, Paul Hutchins with his restored 1932 Ford ‘Roadster’ – and that is a nice vintage Chevy Corvette next door, as well as three variations on how the hood pops; below, line ‘em up – and under those hoods were reminders of an era when engines were more mechanical than electric …


With no one on hand to ask, I am guessing this is a circa early-1950s Chevy – but I’m sure someone will let me know if I’m wrong.

Then there was the food – is that a ghost hovering over a Cajun-themed crawfish steamer?!? And where is that Ragin’ Cajun Lorena, Trevor?
