Fall Leaf Collection schedule

The Town of Front Royal will begin collecting bagged leaves every Wednesday beginning October 18, 2017 through January 17, 2018.

Leaf collection will not occur on following Wednesday’s-November 8th, November 22nd, December 20th, December 27th and January 3rd, due to Holidays.

There is no limit to the number of bags that can be placed curbside during this period.

  • Leaves are to be placed in the same area as garbage or other refuse for curbside pickup by the Town before 7 am on Wednesdays
  • Leaves must  be placed in plastic lawn bags, recycled paper bags, 32 gallon garbage cans (not Town issued trash cans), or reusable Rubbermaid type bins.
  • Bags are not to be sealed or tied to allow our crews to easily identify leaf bags.
  • In addition, such material shall not be mingled with garbage, ashes and trash.-The Town will refuse this collection service to any citizen who mixes leaves with other waste.

Please do not rake your leaves to curbside as the Town will not be collecting loose leaves.
