James G. “Jimmy” Foster (1946 – 2025)

On August 25, 2025, James G. “Jimmy” Foster of Washington, VA, passed away peacefully at the age of 79.

He was born May 1, 1946, in Flint Hill, VA, to the late George E. and Louise Burke Foster.

Jimmy is survived by his brother, Bobby A. Foster (Donna), and sister, Dorothy E. “Dot” Browning. Additional survivors include brother-in-law Ennis Jenkins, Jr, and numerous other family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary L. Jenkins and Patricia A. Jenkins, his brothers, Donald E. Foster and George E. Foster Jr., and his brother-in-law, Fred Browning Jr., and Junior Jenkins.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 4, at 11:00 a.m. at Flint Hill Cemetery.
