2 For 2 Foundation Hosts “Pot of Gold” Event at Piccadilly Pub to Fund Local Swim Literacy, Ensuring 100% of Donations Go Directly to Lessons

The 2 For 2 Foundation, a Winchester-based non-profit dedicated to water safety and aquatic education, is proud to announce its annual “Pot of Gold” Cheer and Chance Event. In support of its mission to develop aquatic facilities and provide essential swim lessons to the community, this year’s event takes place at Piccadilly Pub in Winchester, Virginia.

In line with the 2 For 2 Foundation’s commitment to community-driven impact, 100% of all donations raised at this event will be spent directly on swim lessons for local youth, with absolutely no funds used for administrative salaries or overhead costs.

“Our mission is to ensure every child in our community has the opportunity to learn to swim, preventing tragic, preventable drownings,” said Shelly Lee, Lead Advocate. “By partnering with local businesses like Piccadilly Pub, we are bringing the community together to fund lifesaving skills directly. We are 100% volunteer-run, so every dollar from the Pot of Gold event and Pot of Gold raffle stays local and goes straight into swim lessons for our children.”

Event Details:

  • Event: 2 For 2 Foundation Pot of Gold Cheer and Chance
  • Location: Piccadilly Pub, 125 E Piccadilly St, Winchester, VA 22601
  • Date: March 14
  • Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Thank you to Lynda Tyler and Shelly Lee from the 2 for 2 Foundation for establishing the Shelly Lee Literacy Fund in honor of Shelly Lee. The fund will support swim lessons for those in need.

The evening will end with its jackpot Pot of Gold drawing, which is always an exciting opportunity raffle, offering one lucky winner a collection of gift certificates valued at up to $2,000.  Participants can enter for a chance to win by purchasing one or more tickets at $25 each, with all proceeds supporting the foundation’s mission. The drawing will take place during the March 14 event, but it is important to note that the winner does not have to be present to win. Tickets are available and can be delivered to you by texting and paying online at 540.481.4861, making it easy for supporters everywhere to participate and potentially claim this substantial prize package.  Visit facebook.com/2for2foundation to see each gift certificate and watch how the pot grows from February to March 14.

The 2 For 2 Foundation focuses on creating a “bottom-up” model to provide swim literacy to all, recognizing that swim lessons are a fundamental life skill that improves mental and physical wellness. The organization is currently working to bring specialized swim programs to the community without increasing local debt or taxes.
