The Front Royal-Warren County Chamber of Commerce welcomed over 60 new educators to the community on July 30th at Warren County Middle School. The event received wide support from the local business community through sponsorships and donation of door prizes and items for gift bags given to each teacher.
The New Teacher Reception, coordinated each year by the Chamber’s Education Committee includes networking opportunities for the local business community and new teachers and lunch provided Chamber sponsors The Apple House, Shenandoah Valley Golf Club, and C & C Frozen Treats. Jeff Hinson, Chairman of the Chamber’s Education Committee and Director of Community Services & Customer Relations for Rappahannock Electric Cooperative served as moderator.
Principals from each school were invited to the podium to introduce their new teachers and give a brief bio for each.
