Sheriff’s Office honors its own, community partners with annual recognitions

On Wednesday evening, March 29th, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office held its annual awards meeting at the Moose Lodge off John Marshall Highway, Route 55 East. Recipients included:

  • Sgt. John Gregory (Medal of Valor Award; Life Saving Medal; Leadership Medal; Outstanding Service Award)
  • Deputy Chad Ruckman (Distinguished Service Medal; Leadership Medal)
  • Deputy Tyler Poe (Medal of Bravery; Life Saving Medal; Sheriff’s Citation for Exemplary Performance; Outstanding Service Award)
  • Deputy Christopher Pontious (Outstanding Service Award)
  • Deputy Omar Fuentes (School Resource Officer of the Year; Community Policing Medal; Outstanding Service Award)
  • Sean Deem (Communications Officer of the Year)
  • Michelle Shenk (Outstanding Support Award/Crime Prevention Award)
