Mark Curtis Nebel (1955 – 2024)

Mark Curtis Nebel, 69, of Bentonville, passed away at Page Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

He was born on March 2, 1955, in Maryland, the son of the late Harry Frank Nebel and Frances Louise Nebel.

When he retired, Mark was a proud licensed electrician and Local 26 Union member. He was also a member of Limeton Community Church. He loved being on the water, spending time with his family, restoring old cars, attending car shows, and working on projects in the garage.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Nebel of Limeton; three daughters, Sabrina (Chris) Huffman of Shenandoah; Melissa (Jason) Campbell of Stanley; Crystal Nebel (David Cooper) of Stanley; nine grandchildren, Courtney (Tyler) Smelser; Tyler Huffman, Destiny Campbell, Danielle Housden, Brett Paul Campbell, Nevaeh Presgraves, Ace Campbell, Kayla Cubbage, Leighanna Cubbage; one great-grandchild; Presley Smelser and one due in April 2025. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis Frank Nebel and Paul Lewis Nebel, and one sister, Valerie Gallop.

A funeral will be held on Saturday, October 26, at the Limeton Community Church, 9 Limeton Main Street, Bentonville, VA 22610. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m., and the funeral will be at 11 a.m.  Flowers can be sent to the church.
