Warren County High School Band Selling Extra Fruit from Annual Fundraiser

Published

on

If you’re looking for a sweet and healthy way to support local students this holiday season, the Warren County High School Band has you covered. Following their annual citrus fundraiser, the band has extra boxes of fresh Navel Oranges and Grapefruit available for immediate purchase.

According to band director David Dingess, there are about 12 whole boxes of Navel Oranges, two boxes of Grapefruit, and several mixed boxes that include both fruits. These high-quality, fresh citrus fruits are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Prices:

  • Whole Boxes – $45
  • Half Boxes – $30

Proceeds from the citrus sale directly support the band program, helping to fund music, uniforms, travel expenses, and performance opportunities for students.

“This is a great chance to pick up some delicious fruit and support our band students at the same time,” Dingess said. “It’s all fresh, and it’s going fast.”

Anyone interested in purchasing a box is encouraged to email David Dingess directly to arrange pickup: ddingess@wcps.k12.va.us

The citrus is available now, and community members are encouraged to act quickly—these boxes are typically in high demand, especially around the holidays.

Whether you’re stocking up for your own family or looking for a unique gift or party contribution, buying a box of fresh oranges or grapefruit is a great way to give back to a program that plays a big role in Warren County’s student life.
