Ross “Junior” Turley (1940 – 2026)

Ross “Junior” Turley, 85, of Chester Gap, Virginia, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at UVA of Haymarket.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 8, at 3:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Sammy Campbell officiating. Interment in Jenkins Family Cemetery will be private.

Junior was born February 28, 1940, in Virginia, the son of the late Delsie May Jenkins Turley. He was raised by his loving grandparents, Nettie Pearl Jenkins and Charlie Boot Jenkins.

Surviving are two very special and dear cousins, Delores North and Mary Settle; one sister, Peggy Sisk; and many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
