Virginia State Police reported more than $2.4 million in seized narcotics during ongoing crime suppression operations across the Commonwealth from May 6 through May 12, 2026.

The weekly report, released from Richmond, highlights enforcement work carried out by Virginia State Police in partnership with federal and local agencies. Officials said the operations led to major criminal interdictions, drug seizures, and investigations into multiple crimes throughout Virginia.

According to State Police, the estimated denied revenue from seized drugs during the reporting period totaled $2,464,012.

The seizures included 288.2 pounds of marijuana, 54.7 pounds of THC consumables, 7.1 pounds of methamphetamine, 4 pounds of psilocybin, 2.2 pounds of heroin, and 1.2 ounces of cocaine. THC consumables include gummies, dabs, oils, and hash.

The figures include seizures by Virginia State Police, State Police task forces, federal task forces, and agency assists.

State Police said the weekly operations are part of continued efforts to disrupt criminal activity and support public safety across Virginia. The agency said it remains focused on working with local, state, and federal partners to target criminal enterprises and support the Governor’s initiatives on violent crime.

“The Virginia State Police remain steadfast in their mission to enhance public safety and uphold the laws throughout the Commonwealth while supporting the Governor’s initiatives on violent crime,” the agency stated.

Officials said the partnerships among law enforcement agencies remain an important part of the effort to safeguard communities and reduce the reach of criminal networks operating in Virginia.
