Warren County Volleyball Set to Host Sherando Wednesday Night – September 16

Published

on

Warren County High School volleyball will return to its home court Wednesday evening, Sept. 16, when the Lady Wildcats welcome Sherando High School to Front Royal.

The evening will begin with the junior varsity match at 6 p.m., followed by the varsity contest at 7 p.m.

The home matchup gives Warren County another opportunity to compete in front of its own fans as the Wildcats face Sherando in an evening of high school volleyball.

With both junior varsity and varsity teams taking the court, local supporters will have a full night of action.

Volleyball matches can turn quickly, with momentum often shifting from one team to the other over the course of a set. Serving, passing, communication and play at the net can all make the difference as teams battle for points.

For Warren County, Wednesday’s match also provides the advantage of familiar surroundings and a home crowd.

Students, families and other Wildcat supporters are encouraged to come out and support the teams as they take on Sherando.

Junior varsity action begins at 6 p.m., with varsity scheduled for 7 p.m. The game is Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Warren County High School in Front Royal.

Those unable to attend in person can follow the action live on the Royal Examiner.
