Blue Ridge Singers in annual holiday concerts
The Blue Ridge Singers will present a choral concert themed “There’s a Song in the Air” on Friday December 9th at 7:30 pm, Front Royal Presbyterian Church on 115 Luray Ave, and on Sunday December 11th at 4 pm at Opequon Presbyterian Church at 217 Opequon Church Lane, Winchester VA 22602.
No charge, but a $10 donations is suggested per person.
Conducted by Dr. Jeffrey Alban, the Blue Ridge Singers are an intergenerational ensemble of 33 area musicians. This year’s concerts will feature carol arrangements by John Rutter, Mark Riese, Ken Berg and many others.
Plan to come and find holiday cheer amid the strains of songs such as “I Saw Three Ships”, “Love Came Down at Christmas” and “Waltz for an Open Sleigh”.
