WATCH: American Legion Community Band – Independence Day Concert
This is AMERICA!
The American Legion Community band Independence Day Concert was held last night at 7:00pm at the Raymond E. Santmyers Youth Center. When the Northern Virginia 4-H Education and Conference Center canceled the fireworks and was unable to host the concert this year, the Warren County Parks and Recreation Department very graciously jumped in at the last minute and sponsored the concert.
The conductors were Ronald Dye, Ed Richards, Bob Johnson and Mark Malechek. Chris Fries was the narrator.
The Royal Examiner’s camera was there and captured the event to share with you this holiday.
O beautiful for spacious skies, For amber waves of grain, For purple mountain majesties, Above the fruited plain!
