Craig A. Morris Sr. (1958 – 2025)

Craig A. Morris Sr, 67, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at his home.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6, at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Sammy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal.

Craig was born April 26, 1958, in Front Royal, Virginia, son of the late Thomas W. “Sonny” Morris Sr. and Nellie Craig Morris.

Craig was a 1976 graduate of Warren County High School and had worked over the years for Safeway and Food Lion and retired from the United States Geological Survey as a security contractor.

Surviving is his devoted wife, Crystal Partlow Morris; two sons, Craig A. “C.J.” Morris Jr. and wife Cheri of Front Royal and Nathan A. Morris and wife Brooke of Browntown; two brothers, Thomas W. “Tom” Morris Jr. of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Richard A. Morris and wife Bertha of Front Royal; and three grandchildren, Caleb Morris, Landon Morris and Rylee Morris.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 6, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
